5-Steps to profitable trade tracking using the Trading Journal Spreadsheet TM

 

 

 

Plan It: Customize the TJS Tracking sheet to "track" what's most important to you! This will become part of your trading-plan. Create your plan, perfect it over time... embrace it.

 

Trade It: To gain the experience needed to perfect your trading plan, you need to actively trade... according to your plan.

 

Track (Record) It: Simply record your trade information into the trading log. All pertinent data will be automatically calculated and populated in the (Tracking) sheet for analytical viewing.

Need Excel... Packaged or Downloaded?

 

You can find packaged versions by visiting your local retail store (Best Buy, Fry's, Office Depot, etc.). Going to Microsoft, you will have the option of having it either shipped or downloaded. If you're using a Mac computer, you'll want Microsoft Excel for Mac. Alternatively, most new computers come with Excel "Starter" edition pre-installed... just activate the product license key to fully utilize any spreadsheet file.

 

 

You can also find discount (packaged) Excel software at places like Royal Discount Software!

 

For other various Excel downloads (patches, updates, etc.), go to the Microsoft Excel Download Center.

 

Although you don't need to know much about Excel to use the TJS products, you may want to view the Excel's Help and How-to page to: Get started, find "how-to" help, or increase your knowledge with Excel (2010, 2007, or 2003).
